ARTIFACT:

This is a United States 5th Army shoulder patch. The 5th Army saw combat largely in the Mediterranean during World War II and has since been renamed United States Army North. The patch shows the silhouette of a Byzantine-style domed building labeled A5.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War II.

SIZE:

Approximately 2-5/8" in height and 2-3/8" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Fully embroidered in cotton/silk threads.

The patch you will receive will either be this particular patch or one very similar. This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. LABX11/10

7+ (Very Fine+): Patch shows light to medium wear.
