ARTIFACT:

This is a circa early post-World War I veterans lapel pin for the United States Army 26th "Yankee" Division. The pin is an interlocking Y and D standing for Yankee Division.

VINTAGE:

Circa early post-World War I.

SIZE:

Approximately 3/8" in height by 3/8" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Gold-plated brass.

ATTACHMENT:

Screw post with sleeved disc backing, stabilization post.

MARKINGS:

Maker mark on backing.

ITEM NOTES:

7 (Very Fine): The lapel pin has some spots of light wear and has an overall tarnish.

ARTIFACT: This is a World War I United States Army 90th Infantry Division lapel pin. The pin an olive drab hexagon with a red interconnecting T and O, which stand for the nickname "Tough Ombres"...
