ARTIFACT: This is an early 1980s United States Naval Air Station South Weymouth (Massachusetts) hat and breast badge set. Both badges are numbered 17.

VINTAGE: Circa early 1980s.

SIZE: Hat badge: approximately 1-3/4" length and 1-1/2" width; breast badge: approximately 1-3/4" length and 1-1/2" width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Chrome-plated brass with painted lettering.

ATTACHMENT: Hat badge: Vertical kick pin with drop-in locking swivel catch; breast badge: single screw post with stabilization post.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a firefighting collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MDJX11 LABEX7/11 SABEX11/13

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): The badges show almost no wear.
