Early 1980s Southern California Motorcycle Association (SCMA) Biker Vest with Pins, Patches S

This is an early 1980s Southern California Motorcycle Association (SCMA) denim biker vest by Maverick. This vest was originally worn by trike rider Norman Moore. The vest is collared with two pockets and has two embroidered patches and thirteen pins from different locations and events. Two of the pins are in root beer plastic and are for the "Nuggets" Southern California 1981 Overnighter.

3Approximately 20" from armpit to armpit, 16-1/2" across waist, 16-3/4" between shoulders and 21-1/2" from back of collar to hem.

Cotton denim, brass buttons, mostly enameled gilt brass pins, four plastic pins, one cotton and one twill patch, both embroidered in silk/cotton/polyester threads.

Buttons, snaps at pockets; various attachments for the pins.

7 (Very Fine): The vest shows some wear, especially some fraying and discoloration to the inside of the collar. It is nicely broken-in.
