Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a circa early 1970s jacket patch for the United States Air Force 353rd Tactical Fighter Squadron. The 353rd was deployed to Korat AFB, Thailand in October 197The squadron has the dubious distinction of having dropped the last bomb of the Vietnam War on August 15, 197The patch is Japanese-made and is fully embroidered with a panther at center.

VINTAGE:

Circa early 1970s (Vietnam War).

SIZE:

Approximately 4" in height and 3-1/2" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Fully embroidered in cotton/silk/polyester threads.
