ARTIFACT: This is a circa early 1960s jump wing oval for the United States Army 5th Special Forces. It is US-made and embroidered in yellow thread upon blue cotton. This oval came to us along with several other Special Forces and MIKE Force patches and insignia (please see links at bottom of page for more information: all items sold separately). We unfortunately currently do not know the name or anything else about the Special Forces soldier to whom these all once belonged.

VINTAGE: Circa early 1960s.

SIZE: Approximately 1-5/16" in height and 2-1/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Cotton embroidered in cotton/silk/polyester threads, mesh backing.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army Special Forces collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MAX13 LHEX9/13

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The oval shows light wear and has two pinholes.

GUARANTEE: As with all my artifacts, this piece is guaranteed to be original, as described.
