This is a submarine patch for the United States Navy Reserve's USS Kingfish SS-234 Submarine Division 1-4The patch dates back to the when the Kingfish was tied up in Providence, R.I. at the submarine reserve unit. It shows a crowned fish riding a submarine and reads USNR SUBMARINE DIV 1-91 USS KINGFISH.
VINTAGE:Circa early 1950s.
SIZE:4-3/4" diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Blue canvas patch embroidered in multi-colored silk/cotton threads with a muslin backing.

CONDITION:6+ (Fine-Very Fine): Patch has light wear on edges and moderate discoloration.
