This is an early 1950s wing for Cathay Pacific, a Hong Kong airline started in 1946. The wing is embroidered in gold bullion and shows a globe at its center.
Circa early 1950s.
Approximately 1-3/16" in height and 3-1/2" in width.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Velvet, bullion and cotton/silk threads, cloth backing.
