This is a pilot wing first issue for California Eastern Airways Inc., a company that acted as behind-the-scenes aviation and logistics support for the Department of Defense. In 1962 the company became Dynalectron, performing extensively in Vietnam.
VINTAGE:Circa early 1950s.
SIZE:Approximately 5/8" in height by 2-1/2" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Sterling silver.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pin with drop-in swivel locking catch.
