This is an early 1940s Eastern Air Lines pilot wing. The badge reads EASTERN AIR LINES and shows a red hawk soaring against two tones of blue.
VINTAGE:Circa early 1940s.
SIZE:3-3/4" wing.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Felt wing embroidered in bullion threads with brass and enamel details and muslin backing.
MARKINGS:Original manufacturer's label reads S. APPEL & CO.
