This is an early 1940s Eastern Air Lines pilot wing. The badge reads EASTERN AIR LINES and shows a red hawk soaring against two tones of blue.
VINTAGE:Circa 1940s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/4" in height and 3-3/4" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Wool felt wing embroidered in bullion threads with brass and enamel details and mesh backing.
ATTACHMENT:Single screw post with backing holding medallion.
MARKINGS:None.

CONDITION:8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The wing shows some light wear and there some light tarnishing to the bullion.
