Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a Dec0-style United States Navy pilot wing from the early 1930s. This wing is in gold bullion and has nice defined shoulders.

VINTAGE:

Circa early 1930s.

SIZE:

Approximately 1-1/2" in height and 3-1/4" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Wool embroidered in bullion and cotton/silk threads, woven backing.

ATTACHMENT:

None.

MARKINGS:

None.

CONDITION:

8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The wing has some minor wear along the edge and areas of light tarnish only.
