Description
This is an early 1920s lapel pin for Willys-Overland Automobile Company from Toledo, Ohio. Willys would later be the company selected by the government to produce the JEEP for use in World War II. The pin is oval and boldly enameled in red, white and blue.
VINTAGE:Circa early 1920s.
SIZE:Approximately 5/8" in height and 7/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold-plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Single crew post with disc backing and one stabilization post.
MARKINGS:BASTIAN BROS. CO. ROCHESTER, N.Y. on reverse of pin and on backing; union mark on backing
