This is a circa early 1920s Royal Air Force (RAF) observer wing. It is for heavily padded for service dress wear. The wing and the letter "O" are in beige embroidery.
VINTAGE:Circa early 1920s.
SIZE:About 2-1/8" in height and 3-3/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Wool felt embroidered in cotton/silk threads, burlap backing, padding.
ATTACHMENT:None.
MARKINGS:None.
