ARTIFACT: This is a circa early 1900s or 1910s lapel badge for the Industrial Workers of the World (IWW). The IWW was organized in 1905 and its members were nicknamed the "Wobblies". The organization still exists although arguably their heyday was during World War I and the years just after. The pin is enameled in red and black and shows three golden stars above a globe.

VINTAGE: Circa early 1900s-1910s.

SIZE: Approximately 9/16" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Brass, enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Single screw post, partial sleeve for backing, stabilization tooth.

MARKINGS: Greenwood Atkinson Armstrong Co. Detroit Mich. on backing.
