ARTIFACT:

This is a hand-embroidered shoulder patch made in England for the United States 8th Air Force. Badge is royal blue and shows a full wing insignia surrounding the number 8.

VINTAGE:

Circa WWII.

SIZE:

2-1/2" diameter.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Wool felt with hand-embroidered silk or cotton thread.

ITEM NOTES:

This is from a WWII Air Force shoulder patch collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VEX09 TRDJX 3/10

CONDITION:

9- (Excellent+): Very little wear around edge and beautifully vibrant coloring.
