ARTIFACT:
This is a cool ca 1950 - 1954 Republic Aviation Employee Badge F-105 Development Era. Made by Whitehead and Hoag, this badge is made in laminate, with the pin riveted to it. The employee number on the badge is 22196 16.
VINTAGE:
Circa 1950 - 1954 Korean War Era.
SIZE:
Approximately 2-1/8" in height x 1-3/4" in width.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Laminated paper and brass rivets and pin.
ATTACHMENT:
Horizontal pin with locking drop-in catch.
MARKINGS:
"REPUBLIC AVIATION. 22196. 16. PAT 2066966. WHITEHEAD HOAG. NEWARK, N.J."
