ARTIFACT: This is a very cool, World War II period, heavily worn, locally made Honolulu Special Police Circle Star Badge in Brass. There are initials scratched in the back, and the pin was replaced from a vertical C catch pin to a horizontal safety type pin! This one has really been around the block! If only it could tell us its story! 

VINTAGE: World War II era.

SIZE: Approximately 2-1/8" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Brass with heavy black painted lettering, heavily lead soldered nickeled safety pin.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal safety-style pin.

MARKINGS: N/A.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a police and law enforcement badge collection that we will be listing more of over the next few months. MAEEX22 LFGEX07/18/22 SLEGEX06/06/23

CONDITION: 5- (Very Good+): The badge shows moderate to heavy wear and extreme duty wear. It has a heavy, dark patina, and a real "been there" look.
