Cool Vintage ca 1950 Movado 2-Tone Watch w/Typical Patinated Face & Scarce 261 Movement 1949-1952

Cool vintage, circa 1950 Movado two-tone watch with typical patinated face, looks like mother of pearl, with scarce 261 movement 1949 - 195The face shows the numbers 1 - 12 and the seconds in intervals of five. The top center reads: "MOVADO" and it shows "SWITZERLAND" along the bottom; the case is marked with the number: "0677" (see photo). The watch is now fastened to brown Italian leather watchband by Speidel that appears to be a replacement.

Circa 1950's.

Approximately 9-3/16" in total length; Case: 1-2/8" x 1-1/2"; Band: 5/8" wide.

Leather, plated steel, brass.
