Cool North Africa US Army GI Ring in Silver from Oran Algeria

This is a cool 1944 United States GI ring from Oran, Algeria in North Africa. The ring has a crescent moon and star in relief at center, representing the Algerian flag. One side of the ring reads AFRICA 1944 and the other ORAN, and both are embellished with engraved leaf fronds.

Circa 1944.

Approximate size 10 to 10-.

Silver.

To be worn on finger.

Possibly initials DC on side but may be just an abrasion.
