ARTIFACT: This is a Cold War era United States Army handbook entitled "The Threat – Organization, Tactics and Equipment" TC6-4-2, which shows a resolute Soviet soldier on the cover. The book was published by Order of the Secretary of the Army in December 1976. This book was once in the possession of the COC of the 1st of the 182nd Infantry Division.

VINTAGE: Circa Cold War era (published December 1976).

SIZE: 95 pages, with illustrations; approximately 10-1/4" in height and 7-7/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Oak tag, paper.

ATTACHMENT: Staples, punched holes.

MARKINGS: COC 1-182 INF stamp on cover; TC-6-4-2 31 DECEMBER 1976.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VEX12 LCEX6/12

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The book shows some minor wear, with a few small spots of discoloration and a tear through the middle punch holes.
