This is a circa World War I worker identification badge for Carbide Tool Company of Chicago, Illinois. The badge is numbered 482 and was made by Greenduck Company.
VINTAGE:Circa World War I.
SIZE:Approximately 1-11/16" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated nickel.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal safety-style pin with saddle.
MARKINGS:482 on front; GREENDUCK CO. CHI. with union marks.
ITEM NOTES:This is from an early Oklahoma chauffeur badge collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VCJX14 LAAEX2/14
