ARTIFACT: This is a circa early 1940s TWA (Trans World Airways) hostess wing 4th issue in gilt brass. Transcontinental & Western Airlines became Trans World Airlines in late 1945. This wing was also worn both as a hat badge and breast badge.

VINTAGE: Circa 1940s.

SIZE: About 1-15/16" in width by 1-1/16" in height.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt brass with enamel detail.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with a "drop-in" locking catch.

MARKINGS: None.
