This is a circa early 1940s TWA (Trans World Airways) hostess wing 4th issue in gilt brass. Transcontinental & Western Airlines became Trans World Airlines in late 194This wing was also worn both as a hat badge and breast badge.
VINTAGE:Circa 1940s.
SIZE:About 1-15/16" in width by 1-1/16" in height.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gilt brass with enamel detail.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pin with a "drop-in" locking catch.
MARKINGS:None.
