ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1990's flight attendant wing 2nd issue Type II for US Air, which has its roots in All American Aviation (circa 1937). All American became Allegheny Airlines in 1953, and US Air was later born in 1979. In 1996 the airline changed its name to US Airways. The wing is by Balfour.

VINTAGE: Circa 1990's.

SIZE: Approximately 5/8" in height and 2-1/2" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold-plated brass, enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS: B (Balfour mark) Balfour ??.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a domestic airline wing collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VBJX12 LIEX12/12 S(1)IEX12/13 SeABEX10/16

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The wing shows some light wear only.
