This is a circa 1980s wing for Pakistan International Airlines, which started flying in 1947 under the name of Orient Airways but came into its own as a state-owned airline in 195The wing is in gold tinsel thread and reads PIA at its center.
VINTAGE:Circa 1980s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-5/8" x 3-3/4"
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Wool felt embroidered in gold tinsel and silk/cotton threads with cloth backing.
