ARTIFACT: This is a 1980 Frontier Airlines pilot hat badge 4th issue. The Denver-based Frontier was founded in 1950 as a result of the merger of three companies (Arizona Airways, Challenger Airlines and Monarch Airlines). The company's "F" logo made from three horizontal bars is at the center of the badge.

VINTAGE: Circa 1980.

SIZE: Approximately 2-3/16" in height and 1-3/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold-plated brass.

ATTACHMENT: One screw post (the other post is missing).

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an airline collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MREB/IL04 LADEX11/10 SLHEX2/13 hldREP/FIND09/17

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The badge shows almost no wear but one screw post and both backings are missing.

GUARANTEE: As with all my artifacts, this piece is guaranteed to be original, as described.
