Description
This is a circa 1960s Cold War era Soviet Russian guard badge in a heavy, early construction with a screwback. The badge is nicely enameled with a large red flag at the top and a red star at center. The reverse shows a star-shaped maker mark (above the post) with Cyrillic "P" for Pobeda Factory in Moscow.
VINTAGE:Circa 1960s (Cold War era).
SIZE:Approximately 1-13/16" in height and 1-5/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Brass, plated brass, enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Single screw post with disc backing.
MARKINGS:Pobeda "star" maker mark/information on reverse.
