Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a late 1960s senior or check pilot wing for American Airlines. The wing has an eagle with spread wings flanked by a pair of capital As at center, along with a wreathed star above.

VINTAGE:

Circa late 1960s.

SIZE:

Approximately 1-1/16" in height and 2-11/16" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Plated brass.

ATTACHMENT:

Two screw posts (we do not have backings).

ITEM NOTES:

This is from an airline company collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAEX6/95 LACEX12/10

CONDITION:

8 (Excellent-): The wing has some light to medium wear and tarnish.
