This is a circa 1950-1960 money clip for the French Air Base 116 Luxeil Saint-Sauveur near Luxeuil-les-Bains. The insignia reads BA-116 ESSOR and shows chicks hatching and flying away. Ceci est un clip de l'argent vers 1950-1960 pour la Base Aérienne 116 Luxeuil Saint-Sauveur à proximité de Luxeuil-les-Bains. L'insigne dit BA-116 ESSOR et montre l'éclosion de deux poussins et s'envoler.

About 2-3/8" in width by 1-1/2" in height. 6 cm x 3.8 cm.
