This is a circa 1947-1952 badge for a United States Air Force Air Provost Marshal. The badge shows a three-dimensional star at its center and has an eagle at top.
VINTAGE:Circa 1947-1952.
SIZE:Approximately 3-1/8" height and 2-3/16" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold-plated brass with painted lettering.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical pin on bar with drop-in locking swivel catch.
MARKINGS:PAT. number.
