Circa 1930s Railway Express Agency Employee Badge

This is a 1930s Railway Express Agency (REA) employee badge. REA was a conglomeration of smaller national express companies set up by the United States government in 1917, during World War I. The badge is round and is numbered 45819.

Celluloid-wrapped tin.

Horizontal safety-style pin.

Hard-to-read maker/union mark on bottom edge.
