Description
This is a circa 1929 Fokker Aircraft Corporation high Deco design paperweight in brass and copper. Fokker, a Dutch aircraft company, came into being in 1912, and was dominating the world aircraft market by the 1920s. The base of the paperweight is a brass octagon and there is a brass medallion with the underside of an aircraft passing over a sailing ship in relief.
VINTAGE:Circa 1929.
SIZE:Approximately 3" square and 3/8" in thickness.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Brass, copper, felt backing.
