ARTIFACT: This is a Circa 1960's ROHR Aircraft Corporation Plant Protection Patch.

Rohr, Inc., is a wholly owned unit of United Technologies Corporation, an aerospace manufacturing company based in Chula Vista, California, south of San Diego. Rohr, Inc. operates as a subsidiary and largest business unit of UTC Aerospace Systems. It was founded in 1940 by Frederick H. Rohr as Rohr Aircraft.
The Rohr-Auburn facility started operation in 1956 and occupies 24 acres of land with 112,000 square feet of building space. It originally worked on the assembly of the nacelle system, which provides the housing for jet engines, for Boeing Co. Use its plants in California, Arkansas and Alabama for current and future nacelle systems and component deliveries to Boeing.

SIZE: Approximately 4-3/4" x 3-5/8"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Silk/cotton/poly thread cotton backing.

ATTACHMENT: To be sewn onto garment.
