Description
This is a circa 1905 real photo postcard (RPPC) of Wyoming Pete. RPPCs were introduced in 1903 by Kodak, who had a camera with film conveniently the same size as a postcard. Wyoming Pete, who signed the postcard on reverse, is shown with his famous beaded vest, pair of six-guns, boots, hat and other accoutrements. This vest, and probably the pictured gun belt, fetched $8000 at the 2004 High Noon Auction.
