Circa 1900 Schrafft's Chocolate Manufacturers Worker Badge by Bastian Brothers

This is a circa 1900 worker badge for Schrafft's, a Charlestown, Massachusetts chocolate manufacturer. Schrafft's was started the same year as the Civil War began. The shield-shaped badge is by Bastian Brothers of Rochester, New York. It is labeled ASSISTANT and numbered 2.

Circa 1900.

Approximately 1-7/16" in height x 1-5/16" in width.

Nickel-plated brass, painted areas.

Horizontal safety-style pin with saddle.
