ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1900 employee badge for the Electric Light Company (probably from Massachusetts). The badge is a small and shield-shaped with an engraved rendition of electricity at its center.

VINTAGE: Circa 1900.

SIZE: Approximately 1-13/16" in height and 1-1/2" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Nickel-plated nickel with painted areas.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical kick pin with a tongue-style catch.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a utilities collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months.  MCEL05 LABEX2/12 SAJJX06/03/23

CONDITION: 7- (Very Fine-): The badge shows some light to medium wear and tarnish with a few spots of the paint worn off.
