Circa 1900 Egyptian Revival Sterling Winged Orb & Serpents Brooch by George W. Shiebler

This is a circa 1900 Egyptian Revival winged orb and serpents brooch made by George W. Shiebler & Company of New York, who took down his shingle in 1910. This fantastically designed brooch is in sterling silver and very much resembles a pair of military wings.

Circa 1900.

Approximately 3-1/16" in width and 11/16" in height.

Sterling silver.

Horizontal T-style pin with semi-tubular catch.

Winged S (Shiebler) maker's mark and STERLING 630.
