This is a circa late 1942 United States Army Air Forces navigator wing in sterling silver by Gemsco. This is an early wing in a two-piece construction: the navigator center is soldered on over an observer wing.
VINTAGE:Circa late 1942 (World War II).
SIZE:Approximately 7/8" in height and 3-1/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Two-piece construction; sterling silver.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pin with come-under swivel locking catch.
MARKINGS:STERLING (very faint).

CONDITION:7 (Very Fine): The wing has some areas of light to medium wear/tarnish.
