Description
This is a circa 1900 German-made Boehms' Cafe' advertising stein from Lawrence, Massachusetts. The stein's ceramic body was done in earth tones featuring both wonderful foliage and a king seized by the inspiration of Bacchus. The main medallion reads COMPLIMENTS OF BOEHMS' CAFE ADOLPH G. BOEHM 78-84 ESSEX ST. LAWRENCE, MASS. DELMONICO OF LAWRENCE and two other smaller medallions are written in German.
VINTAGE:Circa 1900.
SIZE:Approximately 8-1/8" in height and 3-5/8" in diameter at base.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Ceramic and pewter.
ATTACHMENT:Hinged top.
MARKINGS:GERMANY with maker's mark.

CONDITION:8 (Excellent-): The stein has little wear and some medium tarnishing on the pewter lid.
