This is a badge for the 1st Hyderabad Infantry of the British Indian Army. The badge shows a 1 at center topped by a lion and reads SEMPER PARATUS (Always Ready).
VINTAGE:Circa 1900.
SIZE:2-1/8" height and 1-3/4" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical pin with "C" catch.
