This is a circa 1890s employee badge for Walworth Manufacturing Company. Walworth was an early toolmaker in Boston, Massachusetts, and at the turn of the twentieth century was the leading maker of adjustable non-monkey style wrenches. The badge shows a man of Herculean proportions hard at work and is numbered 60024.
VINTAGE:Circa 1890s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/8" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Bronze/brass.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal safety-style pin.
