This is a circa 1890's Deputy United States Marshal badge. The badge is a six-point, ball tipped star and reads DEPUTY U.S. MARSHAL 35It has a classic "Old West" look, adn great patina to the unpalted nickle surface.
VINTAGE:Circa 1890s.
SIZE:2-1/16" height and 1-13/16" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Stamped nickel, with black painted lettering, nickeled brass pin affixed with lead solder.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical safety-style pin.

CONDITION:7- (Very Fine-): Badge shows light wear and some paint loss to lettering. Excellent patina, front and back.
