This is a circa 1980 United States Air Force Officer Training School Squadron Eight "Hoya Eight" jacket patch. The squadron was stationed at Medina Annex, Lackland AFB, Texas. The patch is embroidered upon white twill and shows a red phoenix-like bird at center.
VINTAGE:Circa 1980.
SIZE:Approximately 3-1/16" in height and 3" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Cotton embroidered in cotton/polyester threads, partial mesh backing.
ATTACHMENT:None.
MARKINGS:None.
