Description
Circa 1968 United States Navy Support Facility Danang large Tien Sha Peninsula Security pocket patch made in Saigon at Cheap Charlies. The center shows a green image of the country and crossed South Vietnamese and American flags and surrounding it reads: "U.S. NAVAL SUPPORT FACILITY DANANG VIETNAM" in black embroidered lettering and the outer black border reads: "TIEN SHA PENINSULA SECURITY" in white lettering.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Embroidered cotton and twill, silk/polyester/cotton threads, paper and gauze backing

CONDITION:7- (Very Fine-): The patch shows minor to moderate wear and soiling, the colors remain bright, small spot of adhesive on the front, scrapbook remnants on reverse, overall very fine condition.
