Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a circa 1910s or 1920s fireman's badge for the Irwin, Pennsylvania Capitol Fire Company, founded in 187The badge is fairly small and has an interesting design with tops of fire hydrants jutting out horizontally on the sides.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1910s-1920s.

SIZE:

Approximately 1-5/8" in height and 1-7/16" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Plated brass.

ATTACHMENT:

Vertical kick pin with tongue-style catch.

MARKINGS:

None.
