ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1900 Liberty Fire Company No. 5 of Allentown, Pennsylvania guest celluloid pin. The pin has a likeness of the Fire Chief at its center and was made by Ed. H. Schlechter.

VINTAGE: Circa 1900.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/4" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Celluloid-wrapped tin, paper backing.

ATTACHMENT: Straight pin with loop catch.

MARKINGS: MADE BY Ed. H. Schlechter 540 Hamilton St., Allentown, Pa. with union mark.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a fire and rescue collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. ebay MEX12 LCEX7/13

CONDITION: 6+ (Fine-Very Fine): The celluloid has some light to medium wear and yellowing.
