This is a beautiful circa 1900 Inspector of Buildings badge from the Albany, New York area. The oval badge is lightweight and flat in construction. It is jeweler-made in coin silver with hand-engraved cursive lettering. This would make a great gift for a modern-day building inspector.
VINTAGE:Circa 1900.
SIZE:Approximately 15/16" in height and 1-11/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Coin silver.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal T-style pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.
