ARTIFACT: This is a beautiful circa 1900 Inspector of Buildings badge from the Albany, New York area. The oval badge is lightweight and flat in construction. It is jeweler-made in coin silver with hand-engraved cursive lettering. This would make a great gift for a modern-day building inspector.

VINTAGE: Circa 1900.

SIZE: Approximately 15/16" in height and 1-11/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Coin silver.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal T-style pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an old New York police and law enforcement badge collection that we will be listing more of over the next few months. MGEX14 LAGEX7/14

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The badge has light wear and some areas of tarnish.
