Ca. 1900 Jeweler-Made Inspector of Buildings Badge from Albany, New York Area

This is a beautiful circa 1900 Inspector of Buildings badge from the Albany, New York area. The oval badge is lightweight and flat in construction. It is jeweler-made in coin silver with hand-engraved cursive lettering. This would make a great gift for a modern-day building inspector.
