ARTIFACT: This is an unidentified lapel wing, most likely for an aviation company. The wing has a small red, white and blue enameled crest at its center that reads A. I. USA.

VINTAGE: Circa World War I - 1930s.

SIZE: Approximately 1/4" in height and 1" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt brass, enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with come-under locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an accumulation of unidentified items which we will be listing more of over the next few months. Item will not be sold until it is identified. TREX11 LX12/12

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The wing shows only some light wear to the enamel and minor tarnishing.
