BEING RESEARCHED - Unidentified "SP" Pelican Badge in Sterling - NOT FOR SALE UNTIL IDENTIFIED

This is an unidentified pin in red, yellow and dark blue enamel featuring a pelican swimming between the letters S and P. The design of the badge almost resembles a chimney with a bricked lip at the top with a bottom similar to the end of an award ribbon.

Circa unknown.

Approximately 1-5/16" in height and 7/8" in width.

Gold-plated sterling silver with enameled areas.

Horizontal pin with come-under locking swivel catch.

STERLING B.B CO. ROCH. N.Y. and three union marks.
