BEING RESEARCHED - Unidentified Patch Japanese Occupation Pd Insignia? NOT FOR SALE UNTIL IDENTIFIED

This is an unidentified square patch on green cotton. It shows a handsome medallion design in gold bearing a red number 2 and could possibly be a Japanese insignia from the occupation period.

Circa unknown.

3-1/16" square.

Cotton embroidered in cotton/silk threads with coated paper backing.
